JP Recruit is currently looking to recruit a Clinical Nurse Manager for a permanent full-time position at our clients’ prestigious private hospital in the Cheshire area.

Position Summary:
An opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Nurse Manager to provide operational and clinical leadership to support senior nursing staff of a busy surgical ward
The successful candidate will be required to maintain a high profile within the inpatient floor area and maintain standards for clinical practice and ensure teams have the skills to deliver the needs of the service. The Manager will also be required to develop and promote the nursing strategy to enable efficient, effective and safe care.

Responsibility:
• Empower and enable staff to perform their roles effectively
• Share best practice and drive improvement in patient care
• Oversee the recruitment and retention of staff
• Participate in service improvement projects and development programmes
• Investigate complaints and untoward incidents
• Ensure staff attend mandatory training

Essential Requirements:
• NMC registered
• Broad experience relevant to the post
• Mentorship course.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development
