CARDIAC CATHETER LAB NURSE (Full Time Permanent)

We are currently recruiting experienced Cardiac Nurses to work in the Cardiac Catheter Lab based within a Private Hospital in the Cheshire area

JOB ROLE

Working as a staff nurse providing care for patients before during and after a variety of Interventional Cardiology procedures including:
- Angiogram
- Ablation
- Coronary Angioplasty
- Pacemaker Implantation
- Cardioverter Insertion

* Patient education, ensuring they are fully informed of the planned treatment, including post procedure instructions and care. Ensuring all patient queries and questions are answered.
* Patient assessment.
* Observations and cardiac monitoring.
* Phlebotomy and cannulation.
* Perform ECG's.
* Wound care

REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will have:
* Current NMC registration as RGN
* Minimum of 2 years experience in Cardiac Nursing, either in the Cath lab setting, or managing patients undergoing Cath Lab procedures
* Scrub Experience
* Enthusiastic and dedicated to providing first class ursine care.
* Team player.
