The Sandford Station retirement village run by the St Monica Trust includes several different care services, including 108 sheltered housing apartments for older people and a specialist care home for people with dementia. Construction has now started on the final phase of the development, following North Somerset Council’s approval of plans for 25 beds of general needs care home accommodation at Sandford Station.

We are now recruiting care staff for the general needs care home before it opens in early 2010. We will continue to recruit more people to the dementia care home and the sheltered housing service as more residents move into the village.
