Job Summary
We are looking for Nurses with an Oncology qualification and/or experience to help us
develop our business. You’ll be caring for patients in their own homes receiving cytotoxic regimens and other Oncology/Haematology related treatment.
Key Responsibilities
•You will be responsible for ensuring that you work effectively with your team and customers
•You’ll ensure that you deliver a quality and effective service
•Prioritise requirements of role and ensure that requirements are met each shift
•Manage the care delivery for a shift. Ensure that the boundaries of the role of Nurse Care Coordinator and client/family are maintained
Specific Skills
•Registered General Nurse qualification
•Oncology nursing experience essential
•Phlebotomy and cannulation skills
•ENB 237/240 desirable but not essential
•Experience of a range of chemotherapy regimes (oncology/ haematology)
•Ability to communicate with client, client’s family and a range of health and care professionals
•Must be flexible to travel to clients homes
•Experience in home healthcare is not essential as we will provide you with excellent education, training and development and other rewards which are everything you would expect from a pioneer in home healthcare.
