Deputy Nursery Manager - First Point Healthcare

One of our regular client is looking to employ an enthusiastic and hardworking Deputy Nursery Manager. This very busy nursery,based in Central London, will be able to offer you full time position with flexible working ours, 24 days paid holidays per annum and will give you an opportunity to develop your career in Nursery Nursing.

Responsibilities:
* To assist the Nursery Manager and in their absences to undertake full resposibility for the operation of the nursery setting for children aged 0-5yrs old.

* To provide a secure and stimulating enviroment incorporating high standards of care, play and educational opportunity for the children their individual needs and partnership with their family.

* To promote the well being of the children attending the nursery and ensure all childern's needs are recognised, included and met.

Duties:
* To deputise for the manager and undertake the full resposibility for that post when required.
* As a member of the nursery staff to take shared responsibility for the planning, recording, implementation and evaluation of an inclusive early yerars curriculum in accordance with EYFS.
* Ability to collect nursery fees and carry out administrative duties.
* To participate in appropriate staff meetings, training and supervision session.

The suitable candidate should have:

* Foundation Degree in Early Years or minimum of level 3 or equivalent to the well being and needs of young children.

* One year working experience with under 5's with an Ofsted registered provision.

* Experience within guideline of Birth to Three Matter and Foundation Stage Curriculum.

* Organisational skills and ability to be positive and professional in dealing with other staff members children and parents.

* A sound knowledge of develop mental stages and an understanding of the value of play.
